Membership is by invitation only. The following are membership requirements:

• Members of PWFAA should be professional active fine arts artists
• Members should have at least a Bachelor Degree
• Only female artists are accepted
• Membership is open to women of Puerto Rican descent currently living in Puerto Rico or abroad, or women who have lived in Puerto Rico for many years.
